The Mamie George Community Center, located in Richmond, is the home of Catholic Charities in Fort Bend County.
Because of you, vulnerable families and seniors receive food, rent, and utility assistance, as well as a sense of community. Trini’s Corner Market – a self-select food pantry where client’s “shop” for their food in a grocery store like setting – allows clients to maintain their dignity while receiving food assistance. At Patty’s Café, seniors can gather for a meal and socialize.
With your support, the Mamie George Community Center also provides large scale drive-through food distributions for families in need. The center also provides exercise and art classes for seniors, services for women veterans, and a special program for grandparents who are the sole caretaker of their grandchildren.
