Mission of Love Benefiting Catholic Charities in Fort Bend
We’re on a mission. Come join us!
Because of your support, Mission of Love has been instrumental to the growth and success of Catholic Charities’
Mamie George Community Center over the past six years. But during the pandemic, we are taking a different approach
so your contribution will have maximum impact now when it’s needed most.
While we are not able to hold our annual gala this year, we are still on a Mission of Love to help struggling families in our community.
Every dollar given to the Mission of Love campaign will directly
support those most immediately in need in Fort Bend County.
Catholic Charities has been actively serving seniors, at-risk families, and the newly unemployed during this global pandemic in Fort Bend.
More than 742,000 pounds of food has been distributed to over 57,000 families since March 18.
Almost all these people are living below the federal poverty level.
Watch the video below to see how you’ve helped us respond to the needs during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Join us in recognizing our 2020 honorees
Tom and Norma Petrosewicz
We hope you will join us in honoring them in person. When circumstances permit, we will host a Thank You Celebration
at the Mamie George Community Center tentatively scheduled for September 10. More information to come.
Please consider making a gift or becoming a sponsor to continue providing life-saving
programs and services to the most vulnerable members of our community.
Proceeds from this event help individuals, families and seniors in Fort Bend County and the Mamie George Community Center.
