When it comes to mental health care Houstonians face two barriers: access and cost.

The need for mental health services far outpaces the number of those who can provide it, and the cost of care is often more than low-income families can afford.

Because of you, families and individuals of any income level with everyday problems are able to build healthy relationships and heal from trauma and grief through Catholic Charities’ Counseling Services.

Individual, couple, and family counseling is provided on a sliding scale fee, meaning a client never has to pay more than they are able to pay for services.

With your support, our licensed bilingual counselors serve families in schools, at parishes and in other locations throughout the community. Counseling is also integrated into other Catholic Charities programs because overall health is essential to self-sufficiency.

Your support of the Counseling and Behavioral Health Clinic means supporting families, children, veterans, and many more on their journey to improved mental health, which can be a major factor contributing to poverty, unemployment, and homelessness.
