Every year, tens of thousands of refugee youth arrive to the U.S. alone, mostly from war-torn countries where they have lost or been separated from their entire families.
Because of you, the St. Jerome Emiliani Foster Care program provides a nurturing environment for unaccompanied refugee children and youth, many of whom have escaped devastating situations in their native lands. Through foster families and supportive services – and through your generosity – we help these children heal and thrive.
With your support, unaccompanied refugee children not only receive placements in foster homes, but also food, clothing, intensive case management, English language instruction, tutoring, mental health services, and more.
