Because of you, Angela was able to turn to Catholic Charities’ Blessed Beginnings Life Center when she needed it most.
Angela had a lot going for her. She was eight months pregnant with her second child, doing well at her job, and just moved into a new home to accommodate her growing family.
Six weeks into her maternity leave, she found out she lost her job due to layoffs. Angela had no family support nearby, and the few unemployment benefits she received weren’t enough to pay her bills. She couldn’t help but worry how she would take care of her children.
But because of you, Angela was able to turn to Catholic Charities’ Blessed Beginnings Life Center. She received diapers and supplies for her newborn, and clothes and school supplies for her 4-year-old. The classes helped not only to give her important parenting tips, but also the emotional support and safe space to express her feelings.

And, Angela didn’t have to worry about the holidays either. Thanks to you, her children received several neatly wrapped Christmas gifts through the Share Your Blessings program.
