Thank you for considering volunteering with us! Volunteers are essential in fulfilling our mission here at Catholic Charities. They help us ensure that the stranger gets welcomed, the senior is looked after, the hungry are fed, and the children are served.
Catholic Charities constantly evolves to meet the needs of the community, and so does the work of our volunteers. We welcome all volunteers regardless of race, religion or socioeconomic status! Give your time and share your talent with Catholic Charities.
For information on volunteer opportunities, internships, how your group can volunteer, and how to support Catholic Charities by hosting a drive or event, please click on an option below.
New Volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Orientation. We have options for virtual or in-person at both our Harris County and Fort Bend County offices. Please click here to RSVP. If there isn’t a time that fits your schedule, please email one of the Volunteer Services team below.
Make an impact in your community while getting hands-on work experience in the nonprofit field. Interns at Catholic Charities receive a worthwhile learning experience by working with licensed staff and dedicated professionals to enhance their skills and prepare for a rewarding career. Our interns make a meaningful contribution to our organization’s success, and bring help and hope to thousands of individuals and families we serve each year.
Catholic Charities has a variety of internship opportunities for Undergraduate and Graduate level students. Internships are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Please contact us for more more information.
Pro Bono Attorneys
Volunteers are essential for providing services to the families we serve. The Cabrini Center seeks the assistance of pro bono attorneys for both litigation and administrative cases, and also accepts law student volunteers during the summer and during the school year.
We are excited for you to be a part of our fantastic volunteer team at Catholic Charities at the Cabrini Legal Center.
