Thank you for considering volunteering with us! Volunteers are essential in fulfilling our mission here at Catholic Charities. They help us ensure that the stranger gets welcomed, the senior is looked after, the hungry are fed, and the children are served.

Catholic Charities constantly evolves to meet the needs of the community, and so do the jobs of our volunteers. You can help us provide services to those in need regardless of race, religion or socioeconomic status. Give your time and share your talent with Catholic Charities. All are welcome!

How do I sign up to volunteer?

Visit the Application Process page for step-by-step instructions on completing the online volunteer application.

Can I just drop in any time to volunteer?

We prefer our volunteers to sign up for a shift in advance of volunteering. This helps our staff determine what our needs are for that day and time, and whether we need to request additional volunteers or not. Additionally, some opportunities require that our volunteers attend our virtual orientation or complete VIRTUS training prior to volunteering.

Do you have to be Catholic to volunteer?

No, we enjoy and encourage anyone who is interested to volunteer!

Yes! We are a family here at Catholic Charities and encourage families to volunteer. We ask for parents/adult guardian to supervise youth 16 and under.

Can I volunteer by myself?

Yes! We have many volunteers who come to Catholic Charities by themselves. It’s a great way to meet other people in the community.

How do I host a drive?

Can’t make the commute to volunteer in our offices? You can do it from home, at your school, your church, or anywhere by hosting a drive for one or more of our programs. We are always in in need of items for those that we serve.

You will be asked to drop off the items at the appropriate program site. If it is a large donation Catholic Charities may be able to schedule a pick-up. Items collected must be unopened and unused.
