Cabrini Center To Host Additional DACA Workshops

Catholic Charities Charla Workshop

The Cabrini Center will host three DACA workshops in August to help individuals renew their applications.

Catholic Charities’ St. Frances Cabrini enter added three additional workshops in August to help individuals renew DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) applications.

Due to a recent law suit filed in the ongoing DACA litigation, Texas v. Nielson, there is a possibility that USCIS will be required to stop taking renewal DACA applications toward the end of August.

In order to help as many people renew their DACA applications as possible before this potential deadline, the Cabrini Center will host a total of five workshops on the following dates:

  • Aug. 7
  • Aug. 14
  • Aug. 16
  • Aug. 21
  • Aug. 23

These workshops will be held at Catholic Charities’ North Loop West location at 2707 North Loop West, Suite 300, Houston, Texas 77008.

To register for the workshop, schedule online here or call the Cabrini Center at 713.874.6570.

Registration is encouraged as space is limited. For more information on the DACA services provided by the Cabrini Center, visit the DACA webpage.
