Sofia recently reunited with her husband. She was happy that the family would once again be back together. Those dreams quickly faded when her husband got sick and was out of work for a few months.
The family quickly fell behind on the rent and struggled to put food on the table.

Sofia wants her kids – 3 and 5 years old – to know their father. And that was off to a good start when they moved back in with him. But the illness he went through put a financial strain on the young family. They were served eviction papers last month.
Because of you, that eviction never happened. The family’s past due rent was paid, and you kept them safely housed.
