- Houston-Harris Help Emergency Rental Assistance Program
The City of Houston and Harris County are working together to provide $159 million in rent and utilities assistance to families who are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit HoustonHarrisHelp.org to apply or for more information. - Texas Coronavirus Relief Bill Rental Assistance Program
The Texas Rent Relief Program can help renters with costs starting as far back as March 13, 2020. Both landlords and tenants can use this website to create an account and submit their application. If you need assistance completing an application, our customer service staff can complete the application with you by phone by calling 1-833-9TX-RENT (1-833-989-7368). Visit TexasRentRelief.com for more details. - Texas Emergency Rental Assistance Program Administered by the Harris County Community Services Department
The TERAP program will provide assistance to renters who are at risk of eviction by providing up to six months of rental assistance.
