Father Leo Patalinghug – winner of “Throwdown! with Chef Bobby Flay” on the Food Network — hosts “Faith Full,” a spiritual and culinary experience benefiting Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston October 18 at The Astorian.

With upbeat humor, Fr. Leo is a man with many talents: break dancer, Black Belt, TV/radio personality, author, chef and priest.  He travels the world to promote the importance of not what appears on the table, but who gathers around it, inspiring the joys of sharing faith, family and food.

The evening includes drinks, hors d’oeuvres, grab bags, and a cooking demonstration and presentation by Fr. Leo at 7 p.m.  Regular tickets are $100 per person; VIP tickets are $125 per person for a meet and greet reception with Fr. Leo – including a commemorative gift – at 6 p.m.

This brand new event, sponsored by BB&T, continues the commemoration of Catholic Charities’ 75th Anniversary of providing help and creating hope for those in need in the Greater Houston area, while benefiting the organization’s programs and services.

Over the past 75 years, Catholic Charities has helped several million families with emergency food and rent assistance, provided case management and a network of services, and promoted social justice and dignity for under served populations.

Tickets are available online for purchase. Visit the Faith Full webpage, or contact Naibi Rivera at 713.874.6629 or NRivera@CatholicCharities.org for more information.
