Catholic Charities’ food pantries have been operating since shelter-in-place became our new normal, along with all of our other programs that are being handled by phone and email rather than face-to-face.
Our drive-thru food distributions operate at our regional food pantries each week. Days, times and location information is below.
Our three largest food pantries are open each week:
HOUSTON
Guadalupe Center

In order to serve the families that visit our pantry in a more efficient way, the drive-through food distributions at our Guadalupe Center are now by appointment only. Please complete the appointment request below to schedule a time to visit us and receive food:

To better serve the families that visit our Guadalupe Center, we are asking visitors to first visit our waiting area located at the Minute Maid Parking Lot A located at 962 Hamilton Street (MAP).

Effective January 5, 2021:
Catholic Charities’ Mamie George Community Center will transition to an appointment-based system for our drive-through food distributions. All those in need of food assistance are welcomed to make a reservation.
How to make a reservation to visit our food distributions:
- Reserve your time slot by making a reservation online:
Request Appointment - Submit registration through Houston Food Bank text system (text 94502* with the letters HFBPS as the message to fill out registration form). Then select Catholic Charities — Richmond.(*Please note the updated information for 2021.)
New Food Distribution Days and Times:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. — noon
- Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. — noon

Monthly Food Fairs at Mamie George
Catholic Charities and the Order of Malta will begin hosting monthly food fairs at the Mamie George Community Center for Fort Bend County residents. Read more details here.
