Cynthia N. Colbert, MSW, president and CEO of Catholic Charities, was selected as a finalist for the Houston Business Journal’s 2016 C-Suite Awards in the Best Nonprofit CEO category.
The second annual awards program recognizes Houston’s top leaders in the nonprofit and for-profit space. A panel of outside judges selected the finalists based on their contribution to company success, civic involvement and career achievement.
Colbert was also recently recognized as a top 10 nonprofit finalist in the first HBJ Women Who Mean Business Awards on May 11.
HBJ named more than 30 finalists in eight categories for its second-annual C-Suite Awards. Winners will be announced at an event on Aug. 11 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.
