Bank of America Awards Grant to Catholic Charities

Bank of America awarded Catholic Charities a grant to provide food and emergency financial assistance to families in need.

Bank of America awarded Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston a $30,000 grant at it’s Bank of America Community Partner Reception on June 25, 2019.

The funds will support the Guadalupe Family Assistance Center that provides food and emergency financial assistance to individuals and families in need. Within the past year, more than 43,000 people received food assistance through the Lewis and Joan Lowenstein Foundation Pan De Vida Food Pantry within the Guadalupe Center.

Bank of America awarded grants to 27 Houston-area nonprofits addressing workforce development and economic mobility through access to food, shelter, benefits and other fundamental needs.
