Food Pantry: Beacon of Hope Isle Market

Catholic Charities’ Beacon of Hope Isle Market in Galveston provides fresh produce, meat, dairy and nutritious nonperishables.

Please call 409-762-2064 for appointments. Appointments recommended; walk-ins welcome.

8:00AM – 4:30PM

Texas City Beacon of Hope office

As funds are available, housing assistance is available to residents living in Texas City and in Texas City ISD.  Call 409-948-0405 or e-mail Melissa Barilla (Case Manager) at mbarilla@catholiccharities.org.

Disaster Recovery Services

We provide response coordination and short-term and long-term recovery services to individuals and families dealing with the aftermath of natural disasters like hurricanes, floods and other catastrophes. No matter what storm comes our way, Catholic Charities will be here for the long term to help our community rebuild and recover.
