Stefani received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown and her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. Stefani specializes in working with children (as young as 4-years old), adolescents, and parents to address a variety of emotional and behavioral issues such as trauma, anger management, life transitions, inattention/impulsivity, depression, anxiety, grief, and a multitude of other presenting challenges. Stefani facilitates psychoeducation presentations to school communities, and she is trauma-informed. Stefani uses a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused, Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents, Person-Centered Therapy, and a variety of other techniques. Stefani has successfully completed rostering requirements for Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents. Stefani has been in the mental health field for over 5 years. She is Mexican American and bilingual in English and Spanish. Sessions are conducted in English and/or Spanish. Stefani enjoys spending time with family and friends. Stefani’s favorite past time is watching sitcoms.
