Veronica Arias
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Texas A&M University with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish. I obtained a Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston. I have worked in counseling for seven years and I provide therapeutic services in Spanish and English to the families I work with. My current work includes working with school-aged children/adolescents and their families and facilitating support groups for refugees. My professional training includes evidenced based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma and Grief Component Therapy. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and reading.
