Jeimy Thompson
Jeimy Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. Jeimy has over 5 years of experience providing counseling services to a variety of individuals, particularly youth, women, and survivors of crimes, including domestic violence. Jeimy is a certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) as well as a Certified Trauma Focus- CBT (TF-CBT) therapist. Jeimy utilizes a collaborative and holistic approach to counseling to empower clients to navigate through life challenges as well as to address issues, such as, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and grief. Jeimy is fluent in Spanish and English. Jeimy enjoys spending time with her family and dog, working out, being active outside, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
