Mariela Guzman
Licensed Professional Counselor and certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Mrs. Guzman is a first-born generation Mexican American and bilingual in English and Spanish. Mariela received her Bachelor Degree at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, and her Master of Education in Counseling at University of Houston Main Campus. Mariela has ten years of experience working with survivors of trauma and victims of crime. Her professional training includes evidence-based interventions such as Trauma Informed Care and Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
