Danielle Mendez 

Danielle Mendez received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 2013. Danielle later continued her education at the University of St. Thomas and received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. Since then, Danielle has worked with adult patients in an inpatient facility, adolescents in a substance abuse facility, adolescents in a charter school system, adolescents in a shelter for unaccompanied youth, and with adults and adolescents in private practice. Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. Danielle is a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner (CTRP-C) through STARR Commonwealth. Danielle is a CSAT-Candidate, a Sex & Love Addiction therapist, through IITAP. Danielle is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). Danielle is currently the lead clinician at Catholic Charities St. Michael’s Home for Children. In her free time, Danielle enjoys dancing, working out, spending time with family, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and taking her chihuahua Tequila to the park.
