PURPOSE
In an effort to dramatically improve access to food and other services to low income Houstonians, Catholic Charities plans to establish the new Family Opportunity Center. Anchored by a market-style food pantry, the new facility will house a variety of programs so that families will not have to travel to multiple locations to get food, attend a parenting class, conduct a job search, or receive rental assistance. The center will be the new home for Martha’s Kitchen, a hot meals ministry of St. Martha Catholic Church.
