Catholic Charities is grateful for the kindness of our community for those in need and accepts donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. We also accepted planned gifts, in-kind donations, car and vehicle donations, and more.

We are currently in need of items to furnish a home, including small kitchen appliances such as microwaves, toasters, dish sets, twin bedding, and towels. We also accept new and gently used clothes, books and new baby items. You can host a drive for our clients’ needs by reading about Hosting A Drive on the bottom of the volunteer page.
We are unable to accept mattresses, TVs, used computers, and used baby furniture. An elevator must be available if donated items are located on a second floor or items should be moved to a first floor if located within a home. Smaller items should be bagged or boxed prior to scheduled pickup.
Drop Off Location Small donations can be delivered directly to Catholic Charities main office located at 2900 Louisiana, Houston, Texas 77006. Please note at this time, we are unable to accept large donations and truck deliveries at our main office unless previously scheduled.
Larger donations are also accepted at our warehouse location, 1000 S. Loop West Suite 150, Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Your generous gift of a vehicle can help make a tremendous difference in the lives of those we serve. Your vehicle donation is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law.
We’ll arrange pick up of your vehicle, whether it is running or not. We’ll complete all IRS and title documents for you. We accept a wide range of vehicles:

The charitable IRA rollover is a special provision that allows certain donors to exclude from taxable income -- and count toward their required minimum distribution -- certain transfers of Individual Retirement Account (IRA) assets that are made directly to public charities, including Catholic Charities.
