Weekday Food Distributions for Fort Bend Families
Catholic Charities’ Mamie George Community Center provides Fort Bend families in need with three weekday opportunities to pick up food. This appointment-based system is for our drive-through food distributions. All those in need of food assistance are welcomed to make a reservation.
How to make a reservation to visit our food distributions:
- Reserve your time slot by making a reservation online:
Request Appointment - Submit registration through Houston Food Bank text system (text 94502 with the letters HFBPS as the message to fill out registration form). Then select Catholic Charities — Richmond.
New Food Distribution Days and Times:
- Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m. — noon
- Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. — 6:30 p.m.
- Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. — noon

Our program provides a nurturing environment for unaccompanied refugee children and youth, many who have escaped devastating situations in their native lands. Through foster families, our agency home and supportive services, we help them heal and thrive.

For Fort Bend area seniors and families in need of food, join Catholic Charities and ABC-13 for the Share Your Holidays food distribution Saturday, December 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mamie George Community Center in Richmond, Texas.
Please register by texting HFBPS to 855-788-3663. Appointments are not required.
Please remember:
- Bring a form of ID
- Each family in the vehicle requires proof of registration
- Make sure your trunk is empty
- Stay in your vehicle
