Show refugees that America is a welcoming country

Thousands of refugees rely on Catholic Charities every year for the help they need to get settled in our welcoming city, and become self-sufficient as quickly as possible.

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston launched an emergency appeal focused exclusively on aiding refugees already in the United States. In light of recent actions by the Trump Administration with regards to refugees, we anticipate that funding for our refugee programs will be significantly reduced in the coming months.

With your gift, you will enable Catholic Charities to continue to help these refugees – mostly women and children – who are desperate to reclaim their lives.

Thousands of refugees rely on Catholic Charities every year for the help they need to get settled in our welcoming city, and become self-sufficient as quickly as possible.

Your gift will ensure that these families can continue to rely on us for the necessary and immediate aid they need upon arrival and beyond, including housing, cultural orientation, job training and job placement, health care, education and immigration services.

Please help these families now!

Your support means the world to these families who have escaped terrifying and horrific situations, been vetted thoroughly, and arrived in America looking to begin anew and contribute to our community.

Christ calls us to welcome strangers and to feed and clothe those in need. Your gift today will change lives and show refugees that America is still a welcoming, loving country.

THANK YOU for your generosity and compassionate spirit!
